So we didn’t really celebrate Thanksgiving on it’s traditional day this year and I personally, have never really cared for it much before now. So R and I went up to Steamboat Springs to meet his family and have an early t-giving with them since it was the first time they’ve seen him in 9 months due to his deployment to Iraq. We all had a very nice visit and enjoyed each other’s company. R’s parent’s were very glad to have him home and see us both well.
Today we are going to have dinner with the Tuatha and introduce R to them which should be fun.
I suppose now I have something to express sincere gratitude for and that is:
-My husband R and all of his Batallion’s safe return home
-My Tuatha and the freedom and joy I have in walking my path
-My health and wellness and that of my family and friends
-The growth, spiritual and emotional, that I have been blessed with this past year
-The beauty that surrounds my in my Rocky Mountain home.
Again the list could go on and on but these are just a few. I feel daily gratitude is greatly more important than one day of thanks.
