So I am now single-handedly supporting my local bookstore since i need something to do while my husband is away having fun on his middle eastern vacation….HA!
Today I bought:
Her Hidden Children– by Chas S. Clifton …finally! I’m so excited to read this one!
The greener shore – Morgan Llywelyn– this was a replacement buy. somehow my nice hardback copy ended up moping up motor oil in one of our vehicles. I enjoy all her books though. Nice retelling of Irish history and lore. A druid’s herbal– Ellen Evert Hopman – the jury is still out. it looked decent enough to buy anda quick skim thru showed it better than most “pagan” herbal books. we’ll see.
The power of myth– Joseph Campbell- I read this a while ago..excited to read it again.
How the Irish saved Civilization– Thomas Cahill- apparently this is a best seller…and with a title like that it should be interesting at the very list. reviews say very historically inacurate…..we’ll see. The herb and spice companion– by Webb and Craze- Culinary, cosmetic, homeopathic and history of herbs. woot! i love me some plants.
SO I intend to make full use of my east facing front pouch and the nice weather and read all these lovely books…usually my bibliophilic purchases are not so incredibly pagan themed but it was just one of those days…I truly do read on different subjects. 😉 not that there is anything wrong with witch books. hehe.
