For those of you who were wondering where the Fox went…I’m still alive. Between moving and house sitting in northern Denver for almost two weeks I’ve been swamped. I still don’t officially move boxes until 8/16 but I’ve been living out of a suitcase while house sitting. It’s an all around adventure and let me say that moving by yourself isn’t very fun but V and I really need some more space and we found some very nice apartments that can hold all of our books and computer games.
I did get to do some awesome Ninjutsu training in Longmont, Co with other Colorado Bujinkan members and Shihan Doug Wilson, who was amazingly patient with everyone and I still have yet to process everything that was said. It was a wonderful experience that will be very hard to forget..and I have some great bruises from the experience too.
In other news…in roughly a month my dear Vymn will be returning home on leave from Iraq. It’s our second tour and this time it was amped up to 15 months. We’ve both been fortunate to not loose our minds and are looking forward to two weeks of wonderful time together and we get to spend our 4 year anniversary together too.

Also I’ve started modeling as much as I can for local artists and local schools, which is really great for me since it allows me to have a flexible schedual and express my creativity. I’ve started a portfolio blog that will be up as soon as I can get some pictures edited. There will be a gallery opening on the 15th of August here in the springs at a well known ritzy hotel with some of my recent sessions as subjects for paintings but a local artist….really exciting stuff). Here is a sneak peak of a picture that was taken for rendering:
That’s all for now. Happy Lunasa to everyone too. Our Tuatha has yet to celebrate….we’re wonderfully behind on these things but I’m sure I’ll be able to squeeze an update in when it does before V gets home.
