Ah yes the Fox has emerged from ‘neath the piles of boxes and newspaper and come back into a real world with a real house in the civilian world. ( well it’s an apartment really but it’s cool)
After a wirlwind of help and multiple cars and friends we moved into our new place on saturday (pictures coming soon)
We still have to clear base housing and deep clean our old place..but for the moment I’m enjoying a cup of coffee.
Our new place is very old and small but we have made it work for us…we just have to be really organized. lol. We have a nice back pouch to sit on and and watch the sin rise thru the trees, nice neighbors and a quite neighborhood on the west side, close to the mountains. Just loverly really. The cats have not yet fully adjusted but I’m sure it won’t be long.
Already we’ve had adventures in hooking up our washer and dryer which involved me hanging upside down for a good ten minutes (foxes don’t like to be upsidedown just to let you know.) and the house is so wonderfully old that the floors are rather warped so we’ve created new and interesting ways to level things like bookcases, tables and the oven.
I promise pictures will be up soon and I will start blogging with all the meaningfulness I intended to when I started this blog. We have yet to get an internet connection at our new place but it shouldn’t be too long.
