I’ve been keeping my daily practice…an exercise in simple piety but I’ve slowed down with work on the DP program itself. Each morning I light 3 candles and my incense, give offerings of water and bread and it for 3 minutes in silence. I repeat this at night by lighting 1 candle and incense in gratitude for the days happenings. It has been good to simply practice and not feel it needs to sound, look, or feel a certain way. Adding simple ritual to my daily life has helped me be more centered.
I know I need to start moving forward again by actively working on the DP as outlined in the WotY and will pick that up again tomorrow. I believe I left off on Two powers meditation and will start working that into my morning ritual.
I will be insanely busy in October. I have two dogs shows that I will be gone a total of 10 days to, we are also trying to close on a house. (yes our very own house) so if I am not home or away I will most likely be locked away signing papers 😛
I will find it interesting to keep my practice while I am on the road. My business partner with the dogs is super understanding so I plan to take a small portable altar with me and do a modified daily ritual and meditation. What that is I don’t know yet.
